Happenings at the Temple
Welcome Back and We wish A Happy and Prosperous New Year, 2007 to all our Temple Devotees.
We hope that you and your family fared well through Hurricane Katrina and it’s aftermath. We hope that you have minimal losses. We pray to Lord Satyanarayana for the peace and prosperity of you and your family.
We had a wonderful and successful 2006. We had several special religious events which were participated and sponsored by many devotees.
We had a large turnout of devotees for the New Year’s Day Celebrations . This is an indication of the devotion and hope for the future of the Temple and it’s devotees.
We know the inconvenience that the devotees are experiencing during special occasions due to lack of enough space in the Temple. We are still working on it and find a solution soon .
We thank all our devotees and patrons for the support they have given during 2006.We are eagerly looking for their continued support for the year 2007 and beyond. We want to bring to your notice that we have several programs for regular, weekly, and monthly Puja sponsorship. Details of these programs and sponsorship forms are in this news letter. Please help the Temple by sponsoring one of these programs. We thank those devotees who are already supporting these programs.
We are giving below the special religious events that the Temple is going to observe during the coming Quarter, January through March. We celebrated New Year’s Day with morning and evening Pujas for the convenience of the devotees, Ganesha Puja in the morning and Venkateswara Puja in the evening. On January 14, Makara Sankranthi Day a Special Puja to Lord Ayyappa will be performed. This year Maha Sivarathri falls on February 16, Friday. There will special Homam and Abhishekam to Lord Siva in the morning and Abhishekams and Deeparadhanas from 7:00pm to 12:30am. We request all devotees to note these dates in their calendars and participate in these festive occasions.
